Christina is a second generation real estate agent. Her mother, Joan Schlank, owned one of NYC's most prominent real estate brokerage firms on the prestigious Upper West Side for over 30 years.  Born and raised in Manhattan, Christina has enjoyed living in the "Manhattans" on both coasts. Living and raising her children in Manhattan Beach gives her a genuine insider's look into the South Bay market. She is passionate about the needs and goals of her clients.

After graduating from Skidmore College with a degree in English, Christina began working in the publishing industry in NYC, first as a reporter and writer for Money Magazine and then Reader's Digest. She relocated to Southern California in 1997 and began co-writing and ghostwriting books with experts in the fields of business and health. Her years as a writer have given her a wealth of knowledge about contemporary economic issues. It also taught her to work hard, listen closely, and think different. These are qualities she brings to every transaction and interaction she has as a Realtor.

Christina's personal experiences in buying, renovating and selling local real estate also help her better understand and meet her clients' needs. Christina has lived in Manhattan Beach for 12 years with her husband, photographer Steve Gaffney, and their two boys. Their family is actively involved within the community, and they treasure the relationships they have forged with friends and colleagues in the South Bay. Christina can't imagine living or working anywhere else.
